The Everest Three Passes trail offers a challenging, moderate to strenuous high altitude 19 day long trek through the world famous Sherpa country. From the scenic surroundings of Gokyo you benefit more sights on Mount Everest then from Kala Patthar. An optional hike to Gokyo Ri (5 360 m) offers tremendous views on Cho Oyu (8 210 m), Everest ( 8 848 m), Lhotse (8 516 m) and Makalu (8 463 m) as well as the great Nguzumpa Glacier, the largest glacier in Nepal. Crossing the three passes is technically not difficult and very rewarding. Its an epic journey along 7 000 m and 8000 m Himalaya peaks where you definitely enjoy the most dramatic panoramas in Khumbu region.
